Opinions on the veracity of this old chestnut seem to vary:

family members that I've discussed astrology with have basically said
they think it's BS or too general to be accurate. But I figure there's
gotta be something to astrology or is it just a coincidence that I can
almost always accurately predict what's in a person's chart after a ten
minute conversation with them?? So hopefully, I'll get to meet some
like-minded people here...

And welcome to the ever-elusive world of astrological reality. I hope
you enjoy never having firm {i.e. scientific} ground beneath you,
because that will be the case so long as you hang out in "the logic of
the stars."

I don't know the details of what you report, but if you are able to
tell only a person's sun sign with reliability, you are doing better
than most astrologers I know! And believe me, the statistical
probabilities against being reliable are pretty staggering. So it
looks to me as if you have a pretty good rapport with astrological
reality -- or at least the slice of it particularly suited to you.
That's something to build on.

So what sort of thing do you want to discuss?
