For the past few months I have been interested in finding out more
about the sun/moon midpoint as I noted that in looking for
compatibility between my friend and her husband, there was none of the
normal aspects, like sun/moon interchange, mars/venus aspect, -
although they do seem to have a very fated connection. However, the
first person's sun (and moon was exactly opposite to the sun) fell
right at sun/moon midpoint of the second person. On the other hand,
second person has jupiter conjunct the sun/moon midpoint of the first
person. After that I have started noticing very important sun/moon
connections between charts - I shouldn't be too surprised about it
since Ebertin (in combination of stellar influences) does say that this
midpoint shows your relationships. Like to know the groups experience
with this .

Nice question, Madhaulla.

Yes, the Sun/Moon midpoint (MP) is a powerful energy point for
relationships and marriage. In fact, it is the traditional MP of
marriage (partnership).

Having another's planet or personal point on it is very powerful. Yes,
Jupiter conj Sun/Moon of the other or Venus is a great position to have
someone else place a planet in your pictures.

I have to qualify this somewhat by saying that you must look at the
planetary pictures connected to the Sun/Moon MP and if they are bad,
then it can be a negative connection rather than positive. By that I
mean if a person has a Sun/Moon MO conjunct their own Saturn or a
malelific MP of their own like Mars/Saturn, then it will make a big
difference when someone else comes along and adds a Venus, a MP, Pluto
or whatever else falls there.

Since this couple are so suited to one another, I assume the Sun/Moon
MP person has good planetary pictures (or planets) connected to that
midpoint by 45 degrees, so the Jupiter there is an excellent mutual
benefit and connection.

Since my own Sun/Moon = Moon, Moon/Venus, Sun, Mars, Sun/Venus and
Venus and Juno in 15 Taurus which is also 0 Aries, then when that MP
progresses by solar arc to the Aries point by 45 or 22.5 degree module,
I usually marry. That would occur because of the solar arc about every
20-22.5 years apart lines up with my Juno (marriage). So I like to
say, I marry every 20 years whether I need to or not. ;)

So you are quite right. I always try to look at powerful MPs as this
one when deciding about synastry between a couple. This MP can be one
more card in the deck that depending on its placements screams, "Yes!"
for partnership between two people.

BTW: If they do not have the traditional, Sun with Moon and Venus with
Mars, etc. look to see what Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron are
doing between the two and you may find they have powerful aspects that
are both romantic and will last in those planets and that asteroid.
