Pregnancy

Can anyone tell me what might indicate favorable conditions for a
successful, normal pregnancy in my wife's chart (solar return? natal?)

The natal Moon will tell a lot about her attitude towards children,
pregnancy and birth, and the general physical condition and stamina
shown in the natal chart as a whole adds information as well, forming a
sort of foundation for how she might fare in pregnancy and birth in
general. Any other pregnancies and/or births must be considered as
well.

After that, I would look at transits and progressions to natal planets
for information on how this particular pregnancy might play itself out
within that context. I wouldn't take one or two negative factors out of
context and start freaking out if I were you. But if you find a
repeating theme of serious stress in natal, transiting and progressed
aspects (IOW, if everything seems to be repeating and echoing a
particular aspect or planetary/point relationship, like angular and
conjunction aspects from Mars, Saturn and Pluto to the Moon, The Sun,
and the ascendant or it's ruler, etc.) it would pay to make sure she is
careful with her diet and vitamins, gets a lot of rest, avoids a lot of
stress, and is carefully watched for things like toxemia, gestational
diabetes or premie delivery.

But remember, most of the time, it all works out fine. If it didn't,
there wouldn't be so many people on this planet, now would there? ;-)
