Jean...
yeah, it's me on the receiving end this time....here's a situation for
you ebayers. I have been nothing but nice to this seller who wants to
exchange a pair of golf shoes. Apparently my "all sales final" is up
for interpretation, which to him, means he can exchange the item for
another size.

He has already left neg. feedback and I, the same. Now he is emailing
me with threats to publish my ebay id for false advertising and not
ensuring that the customer "is always right", in addition to this:

"are you sure you don't want to exchange the shoes? it would be so easy
since you have an eleven in stock. remember, poor customer service
always has consequences. The ball is in your court. I asked nice
already. I have pointed out that shoe size varies between manufacturer
and between style. You should know that. I am not trying to make your
sale UN final - I just want it be final with me having the correct size.
Your ad is not clear. It never says NO exchanges, it doesn't even say
no refunds. "

and this~

"by the way, I write best-selling books for a living. I am currently
writing one about customer service. I name names and include the
details. Look for this story and the name of your company. It will all
be in there. Thanks for a story of what is wrong with customer service
today. With you there in NO service....you and your store are doomed".

I am tempted to email him that HE should know that the size varies...he
is the one that is buying. Up until now I have remained fairly quiet,
apologizing that he had made an error, but certainly through no fault of
my own.
