Charlie Perrin...
Webmaster (not me!) reads log, catches GM computer searching the web "How To
Generate Revenue" on his Web site:

Noticed they're still using Windows 2000.

Charlie Perrin...
It's not that they use Windows 2000, it's that GM would be searching the web
"How To Generate Revenue."

If you didn't know, GM managed to lose almost $15 a share over the
past 12 months. They're down to about $21 a share.

IMHO, given the losses, it's very appropriate that they searched the web for "How
To Generate Revenue."

Charlie Perrin...
What happens when developers use the deprecated interfaces from 15
years ago.

HP, on the other hand, decided my scanner was old enough they didn't
need to write drivers for it any more when WinXP came out. I decided
to get a newer/better/cheaper scanner. (Before you ask.... Xerox this
time.)

Charlie Perrin...
We had to upgrade everything at work because Microsoft has stopped
supporting Win2000.

They gave us considerably faster boxes at the same time.
