Banana Republic Splurge!

Major purchase from Banana Republic the other day:

*black super soft wool blend knit wrap dress with short (but not too short)
sleeves. I was comparing this one with the long sleeve stretchy wrap dress
in black (the same style that comes in that retro polkadot print), but felt
the one I got is more versatile, whereas the other one is more dressy only.
This dress is so cozy yet elegant. The material feels like cashmere. I'm
so excited about my new dress!

worn it yet. I steamed it last weekend and have it hanging on
a hook in my closet where I admire it daily in the faceted
light of the chandelier. (How pitiful am I. And how lucky

I almost ordered the tights, but then I remembered that I have

I got these too! I thought they were a nice alternative to, say,
fishnets or the more elaborate tights magazines are showing,
and figured they'd update any black dress or skirt I wore them
with.

Agreed! At the store I was worried they'd look too much like fishnets, but
they look absolutely perfect on.

I'm loving BR right now...I might go and check out the short cuff pants to
wear with tall boots. I think that look is adorable!
