Jeans - are they uncomfortable or is it just me?

opity...
Here is a big question I have in my life. Do people really find jeans
comfortable or do they wear them because everyone else does?

I'm 22, I've been wearing sweatpants most of my life and for the past 3
years I've been wearing mostly jeans, because everyone else does and I
wanted to see what's so great about them.

I've shopped from 5-6 different brands. When i started about 3 years ago I
would buy bigger sizes, later on I would buy smaller sizes. They ALL (I
repeat ALL) feel uncomfortable when walking. Not extremely uncomfortable,
and I do walk good distances in them, but uncomfortable enough to notice
most of the time. I get the feeling of being pressed on my inner thighs.
If I wear my jeans high enough (belly button) this feeling decreases
quite a bit (because the "pressing point" is not pressing on the wide
part of the thighs) but it doesn't go away.

Sometimes if my jeans are loose and they go below my belly button when I
get home my inner thighs ache from that effect. Not very often though.

For some reason, tight pairs feel more comfortable than loose pairs. Go
figure.

I do have big thighs. Or so I used to think, because I tried measuring
again and again and I always find my thigh to be 21-22". From what I see
online this is considered normal. My waist is 32" and I usually wear sizes
31-33. Is it the way I walk? Is it just because my body doesn't like the
fabric? What is it?

Forgot to mention that I'm a guy.
