Sweats

You're welcome Smokey. IIRC they have pockets.

I guess sweats *have* become a seasonal offering. Wow. Something to
keep in mind once my old ones have completely had it.

I can't believe I am having trouble finding these: I want plain old
sweatpants with pockets. No decoration, no stripes on the side, not
cropped, not microfiber, just plain old cotton sweats with non-elastic
ankles. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's too early in the season to find sweatpants, but if I were looking for
such pants (which just happen to be DH's requirements for sweatpants), I
would look at:
- Polo Ralph Lauren
- Gap (mine are ancient Gap sweatpants that are still in great shape
considering that they're 10yrs old)
- Banana Republic

I like Hanna Andersson sweatpants. They change the styling a little
from year to year, but I just checked their website, and this year they
have pockets and non-gathered ankles.

Try Land's End, under Activewear...the Brushed Supima Fleece Drawstring
Pants or Sport Knit Pants could work.
