mineral makeup

Has anyone tried the Bare Minerals or other mineral based makeups? And
thoughts?

I tried Bare Essentials mineral foundation this weekend. The SA at
Sephora did the application and suggested that I wear it for the day
before purchasing. I'm glad she did--when I got home, my face looked
all shiney. It felt make-upy and my sister said that it looked "off",
somehow.......well, I still want to try mineral foundation but this
one wasn't the one for me. I was happy to get it washed off my face.

Try some other brands, there's l-o-t-s out there. Maybe you'll find
one you really like and feels 'right', too.

Thanks; I want to keep trying. I don't know of anyone around here who
sells it, so it'll probably have to wait till I visit the Seattle area
again in the spring. But that's OK; I really want to find that
perfect foundation so I can wait!

Yeah, Lauri, I agree with itsjoannnotjoann. I'm off with the BE too as it
shines on me. But I think I'm going to try Youngblood sometime in the near
future. That is after I use most of my 4-5 foundations currently in
rotation! Don't give up!
