Mme. India...

The Suhali leather bags are all so beautiful and I don't think you'd
tire of them. The Linda Scarf and the charm Cabas don't seem as
practical. You need to get the size you want or you will always regret
it.
I picked this up last week and I am very disappointed. Paula B.'s
recommendations make more sense to me than these. The whole idea of the 16
different skin types sounds really promising, but the recommendations for my
type (OSPW) seem virtually guaranteed to make me break out.

Her recommendations say to pick titanium dioxide in a sunscreen over
avobenzone. That's fine but titanium dioxide makes me break out and
avobenzone doesn't. Maybe I'm extremely unusual but couldn't there be ONE
recommendation for a sunscreen that doesn't contain titanium dioxide?

I already have a sunscreen I'm happy with anyway, but the recommendation to
use 7 different products at a time on my extremely sensitive skin makes no
sense to me. I am supposed to use salicylic acid, hydroquinone and retinol
EVERY DAY (most of them twice a day)?

I am trying a few of her reccs, one at a time, but I am really sorry I spent
the money on this. I'm also annoyed that most of her product reccs are to
products she has financial ties with. They may very well still be good
products but at least Paula B. gives many options beyond her own.

How does she have financial ties to the products? I keep carrying the
book around with me thinking I will get one great new idea for my skin
type. Nothing is standing out so far.
