I posted a few months ago seeking input on skincare:

I just wanted to update.

I ended up going with the Arbonne line out of sheer laziness (knew I
could buy it online -- got mine on Ebay, since it came as "a set" I
didn't have to think about what products to buy and figured if I had
issues, it would have some resale value). I've been using it for about
6 weeks and am actually quite pleased.

I haven't had any "allergic" breakouts and in fact, have only had one
breakout that was a result of my poking at my skin (my fault!).

The skin on my cheeks and chin looks and feels much better -- plumper,
smoother. It feels great.

I haven't noticed any real changes in the skin on my forehead (quite
thin, some wrinkles). I still need to figure out a solution for that!

When I read this part of your post it reminded me that I had a similar
situation a few months back in my temples. This area on both sides of
my face looked like suddently had aged years--if not decades. I didn't
know what it was until someone suggested it could be my hair products
causing a reaction (I was using besides shampoo & conditioner, gel,
and/or moose, wax cream)

I did not believe it completely; however, out of desperation I stopped
using any products (besides shampoo/conditioner) and voila....after
like a week I could see a difference. Now, a few months later, my skin
is back to normal. No wrinkles in that area whatsoever.

The way you described your problem: thin skin and wrinkles, reminded me
of my experience....especially since the area where you're having the
problem is also so close to your hairline.

You may want to try cutting back on your hair products and see if that
bears any results. Just a thought.

I still have crinkles around my eyes when I smile (of course!) but they
don't look dehydrated anymore.

I'm using the "RE9" anti-aging line.

The cleanser is quite wonderful. I'm amazed at how clean it gets my
skin without feeling dry OR like there's residue left on it. I would
buy this again even if I decide not to stick with the line.

I stopped using the toner after a week or so just because it seemed
unnecessary. I'm willing to hear about other opinions about why I
should be using it!

I'm using the serum twice a day. I imagine it's a big part of the
reason why the products are working for me but it's hard to quantify.

I like the eye cream ok. I think it was causing some allergic
reactions with my eyes but that may have been because I was using too
much (or, I have been sick lately so perhaps it's unrelated). I'm not
sleeping much these days (6 month old) so it's probably working
miracles that are then undone by my night wakings!

The day cream moisturizer is good. It absorbs well and my makeup looks
good over it (I'm still using my beloved Idealist between the serum and
the moisturizer).

The night moisturizer feels greasy after applied but I might be using
too much. I still like it, though, and my skin definitely feels
softer.

They included the "transversing gelee lift" which I haven't used yet
'cause I'm not sure what it's supposed to do (and haven't gone to site
to figure it out!).

I'm not using a separate "exfoliator" but my pores seem cleaner than
they've been in a while so I'm not sure if I need one...

Overall, I'm quite pleased. I'm not sure how it'll fare as I keep
using it (I have heard from more than one source that problems can show
up later) but for now, I'm sticking with it. It will also have to pass
the winter skin -- horrendously dry and flaky -- test (though if it
does, it will be the first product that has!).

Thanks again for the recommendations. I'm sure I'll tap into some of
them when I need to move on from this set!
