I know we've had posts about winter skin care and summer skin care, but
how do you change your skin care routine as the weather is just
starting to warm up?
My skin is getting slightly more sensitive and definitely more dry as
I'm getting older. I always up my sunscreen to spf 55 at this time of
year (I play golf) but I'm wondering what else I could be doing to
benefit the general health and well-being of my skin.
What has worked:
a sensitive skin formula eye cream (DDF right now)
a non-lathering facial cleanser (Biotherm's clarifying cleansing milk,
which I think is super)
What I'd love to find:
a rich, but lighter weight moisturizer (a very rich lotion, if that
makes sense)
a treatment product that will help with general skin tone and texture
(AHAs used to be great for me, but those-- and even retinol products
for "maturing" skin-- seem to be too much for me, causing excess
dryness that disappears once I discontinue product use).
Any spring skincare experts out there? I've read lots of makeupalley
reviews and am willing to go high-end or low end! Thanks,
Alicia U.

I use the Cream de la Mer moisturizing lotion in the summer, pricey but
very long lasting. Have you used Paula's Choice anti-oxidant serum? I
use it daily over my moisturizers. DH said he read in the WSJ that all
anti-oxidant stuff was a waste of time but I still have faith. Eucerin
makes a very nice lightweight moisturizer with an spf. I think we got
it in an Allure beauty box two years ago.
