I've been noodling around this new line as well. Though I really prefer
highy pigmented shadows, I am not so thrilled with the colors. They all
seem somewhat muddy to me - at least in the e/s area. I'll probably
break down and try one though. No self-control.

I haven't seen any info on these products - L'Oreal High Intensity Pigments
but I wandered into an aisle containing them by accident tonight. They were
stuck over next to the N.Y.C. items (and nowhere near where L'Oreal items
are displayed) which are decidedly lower on the totem pole (in my opinion)
and I found them by accident.
Saw blushes, eyeshadow duos, and lipsticks. I was intrigued by their ideas
of harmony and disharmony. Harmony is choosing one item to accent and
disharmony is accenting more than one. The pictures on the display made me
laugh though because the harmony picture looked anything but! The model had
strong lips but her eyeshadow was applied all the way down over her
cheekbone. The other model made more sense!
I bought a lipstick but was hesitant on which to choose. I love darker
colors but with a name like High Intensity Pigments, I was worried that some
of those darker colors would be too strong (I am a pale skinned/light green
eyed girl). I picked 158 Moxie. It's a light berry with a hint of purple
in it that I didn't notice until I saw it on the tissue after I removed it.
It's fairly light. The texture reminds me of their regular Color Riche
formulation. It was $8.50.
I also bought 758 Sugar Plum Color Riche. It looks just as it sounds - a
medium plum with a hint of sugar sparkle. Very pretty but not dark.
I haven't even seen any TV commercials on this product which isn't saying
too much because my TV is permanently tuned to Turner Classic Movies. It
looked as though it may be targeted to a younger (than me) market and those
with darker skin.
Anybody hear anything else? Was this an after inventory new display?
