I have now tried so many different self tanners that I would like to
share my opinions of these many products here on a.f. There are so many
to choose from that I am also wondering what are your favorites and what
would you like to try that you haven't yet?

1) L'oreal Sublime Glow gradual tan lotion in Medium skin (even though I
am fair): produces good, even, usually not streaky coverage, good
realistic color, very strongly scented

2) Vaseline Healthy Body Glow in Fair: little or no scent, no
discernable color after three days of applying, must try darker shade

3) Jergens Natural Glow in Medium: Good color, streak-free, strong
scent, and doesn't seem to last as long or wear as well as L'oreal

4) Neutrogena Gradual Tan Face: OK color, A little bit more orange than
I'd like, light scent, has SPF 15, goes on very nicely and dries to a
non-greasy finish

5) Jergens Natural Glow Face: Haven't used this enough times to really
judge but it felt a little heavier than I'd like, and color after 2 days
was OK, strong scent

6) Sally Hansen Airbrush Tan: OK color, very streaky, scent not too bad

7) Neutrogena Micro Mist Spray Tan: Excellent color, very little
streaking, horrible smell. I don't know if using it outdoors would even
be enough ventilation to avoid the awful smell.

8) Estee Lauder Fast Tan: Awful color (orange), very streaky, smells
bad, and gave me an itchy rash

I just bought the L'oreal face and body tanning towelletes today and I
hope they work well. I'd also like to try Dove Energy Glow.

i bought the same thing yesterday....................please come back and
report on it!

I'd also like to ask how do you keep your feet from streaking? I have
tried lightly applying ST to the tops of my feet and then my instep is
still white. When I put ST all over my foot then I get streaks, even
after exfoliating.

Wendy, I gave a tip last night on another thread on overtanned knees
and elbows and it works for tops of feet as well. Do those areas with
the residue left on your hands and you'll have streak-free feet and
perfectly tanned knees and elbows. There's just enough left on your
palms to do these areas.

I've tried a few and had the best luck with a generic - Rite Aid Moisturizing
Sunless Tanning Lotion in Light-to-Medium. Others i couldn't stand the smell

Miss Livvy...
Currenlty I use Equaline (which I think is Savon's generic brand) in Dark.
As I posted earlier this week, I mix it with body lotion about 50/50. This
technique is working great for me. No streaks. Nada.

or turned orangey. I only use it on my legs, though. What i do about the
knees and ankle areas that tend to get darker is i rub those first with some
regular body lotion, then apply the sunless tanner and blend it where the two
"coatings" meet. I hope i explained that right. :-)

Thanks. I may have to try that one. I have an almost full tube of
Jergens Natural Glow right now, but the odor makes me nauseated and I
can't stand to use it.
