Not according to Nordstrom. I was there today and there was a huge table of
various (and I mean various) styles displayed right on the aisle. I'd say
they are still selling.

Yup.

And, for the record, I have a pair of white Ughs (yes, not Uggs), made
in Portland, OR. I got them out of the seconds barrel at their factory
outlet store in the late '70's/early 80's. They're almost identical
(or at least, they are white when they're clean), and the back part of
the heel area is brown suede. They are still completely functional.

So, given that these things have been around for at least 30 years, I'd
say they never go "out".

Of course, the fact that mine are white brings up a whole 'nother side
to the whole "white after Labor Day" thing.

Once you can buy them at Costco, which you can - at least knockoffs -
they're pretty much over, LOL.

I bought my nearly 2 year old daughter the *cutest* pair of pink knockoff
UGGS for 17.00 at Target!

THe new Uggs with embroidery and silver accents are kind of fun,
though.
