Salon de Maria...
Happy 2006!

The cold weather is upon us and I know we're all trying to keep our
skin nourished. I turned on the news this morning and the Beauty
Editor of Redbook Magazine was on giving tips to rehydrate your skin
this winter:

- Use maternity lotions. These lotions are very rich and creamy :)
- Hydrate from the inside out. Eat foods rich in Vitamen E
- Eat food with high moisture content such as fruits and vegetables
- Instead of pouring bath oil in the water, put the bath oil on your
skin first before getting in the water
- Use a humidifier

Leigh Melton...
I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and wow, what a difference!
The humidity here has been very low and I found I wasn't sleeping as
well at night. After using the humidifier in the bedroom I'm sleeping
much better and am not having the little peeling parts on my cheeks
that sometime bother me in winter no matter what moisturizer I use.

The instruction manual says to use "clean water" but I'm wondering if
it would be okay to add a spash of lavender water to it? That's not
oily or anything which could clog it (or at least I don't think so).

Any special products that you use?
