I am really getting into ordering samples before buying new products.
I'm almost out of CSP's Aloha Tiare, so I'm looking for a new scent for
early spring and planning on ordering samples from luckyscent.com.
I've been to the site a number of times, but would appreciate any
suggestions for favorites! My personal favorite perfume note is
gardenia, followed up by jasmine and sandalwood.
I don't have access to any really great perfume counters, so I'm hoping
this is a good way for me to find something new and unique, at least
for me!

I typically discover new stuff at the duty free after a jaunt across the
waters.

It sounds like Jo Malone's Vintage Gardenia is perfect for you -- it's
described as " Classic gardenia and tuberose are laced with cardamom,
sandalwood, incense and myrrh". So, it has two of your favorites in the
same scent. They have it at gloss.com, but not in samples -- maybe you
could get a sample on ebay.

I think there's another Jo Malone scent that starts with jasmine. (I've
never smelled any of these irl, but it sounded like a lovely floral.)

That's true, Jo Malone does have a honeysuckle & jasmine scent. "Fragrant
honeysuckle spiked with sandalwood rests on a layer of sweet jasmine" is how
it's described. I bought a small bottle of it once, but it is (as you might
expect) VERY sweet and didn't really appeal to me.

Still have it? Wanna swap?

I'd be happy to, but I did use it up, just to make SURE I didn't love it.
