Adrav...
I'm re-doing a guest bedroom, which we're
staying in during the remodeling of the
master bedroom, and can't decide on
what to use to cover the king-sized 4-poster
bed -- bedspread or coverlet, or.... ?
Any suggestions for what to use, and where
to get it? I've been looking at various
catalogs and websites, including the
Vermont Country Store, Cuddledown, Lands' End,
The Company Store, BB&B, etc. - but nothing
has jumped out at me. (Only one caveat: a
bedskirt is not an option because it's a
dust-catcher. Ahhhhhh-choo!)

Look at the "Domesticians" website and/or order a catalog. They have
tons of lovely bedcovers. Check out Overstock.com and the JCPenney
catalog/website.

you don't mention what color scheme you are working with or what style.
Something simple (ala LL Bean) or traditional?

Sorry. The bedroom set is Henredon (can't find it on the website) - a
mahogany Queen Anne 4-poster bed and two dressers. The head of the bed is
on a dark reddish wall; the floor is oak. Two walls (the bed head and the
wall with walk-in closet doors on either side of the doorway) are dark
reddish and the other two and the ceiling are creamy pink, as are the
shutters on the windows of the creamy pink walls. It's quite dramatic.
I'd prefer something simple, but "finished" looking.
