Why can't they keep the animals in the wild? It's not my favorite
trend. Neither are platforms.I don't mind chain bags or patent but
cross-body bags? I hope they aren't as big as the weekend size totes
promoted as handbags this season. Boots are great and everyone needs
more.

Yes, I'll still wear my ballet flats and loafers. Classic and preppy
always.

Oh, gosh, ditto on just about everything you said. I really dislike
animal print (though The Child is _totally_ into it.) She also wants a
pair of boots this year. I'll get her the boots, but they'll have to
be either plain black or brown, and a low heel. I'm still waivering
about getting myself a pair. I have several just-above-the-ankle,
med-heel, pairs I wear frequently in winter, but I'm afraid I still
need to lose some more weight so my calves will actually fit
comfortably in a taller pair. OTOH, since we now wear the same
shoe-size, I'll just "borrow" hers when I lose enough weight. ;=)

I'll also go on wearing my flats and loafers. And khakis. Need new
brown moc-croc loafers, actually, but hard to find any I'm willing
spend $$ on -- they're either too expensive, or too... "cheap." kpr54

Hmmm, I think I'll save my dinero and look for a knock off of that
beautiful green coat from "The Devil Wears Prada."
