Update to carry-on rules...

Solid lipstick is now allowed, so it would make sense that lip balm would
also be allowed now as well. Mascara is still not allowed, which I still
find beyond ridiculous, but I'm not Queen of TSA.

TSA's latest and greatest list is supposed to be regularly updated here:

Please note that gel shoe inserts (gellin' like Magellan!) are verboten,
but you can wear your shoes that have gel heels, just as long as they go
through the x-ray machine (which hello, all our shoes already do so nice
redundancy there, TSA).

All this just makes me glad that we already made our trip to MO earlier
this summer. Next trip will be back in the car for 2 days, where we can
use mascara, lip gloss and hand lotion to our heart's content....for now.

Just be aware that if you are leaving the country, the rules on your return
flight may not be the same as on your outbound flight. As of now the severe
restrictions at Heathrow are still in place and I remember someone on here
mentioning they would be flying through Heathrow with 18 people on a golf
trip.
