David RL Gärtner, RMT...
anyone had any experience with this product line? i thought
about buying it tonight; i'm just so pale, and i absolutely will
not lay out in the sun!

ahmward...
I hate it. Esepcially the stuff that goes on bronze.

Missy Leon...
Thanks for the recommendation. I was actually checking out the Guerlain
counter at Saks today - they have some seriously gorgeous eyeshadows - and
plan on going back soon. I'll definitely look into the bronzer next time
I'm there.

L'oreal Sublime Bronze gel, Banana Boat VitaSkin (discontinued, but you
can usually find it at Big Lots), and Savage Bronze are all better than
Neutrogena, IMHO.

I used the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze a few times before I went to Arizona.
I apply it with thin non-powdered latex gloves and it is easy to apply
evenly. It doesn't smell strong either and works quite well.

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze gets my vote, too. But I've used their tanning
towels and have had _excellent_ results with them. Anybody else
tried the L'Oreal towels besides me? I've also tried the HSN Tan
Towels but had no luck with them.

AJ...
IMO nothing beats the flash bronzer by Lancome for legs and
the flash bronzer for face by Lancome. Pricey but worth it.

Miss Livvy...
What is it you like better about it? Thanks.

AJ...
The one for the face doesn't bother my skin, in any way,
which is a miracle (I have sensitive, dry, not-as-young-
as-it-once-was skin). The leg one goes on smooth, not
streaky. Both give a natural, which is to say not orange,
glow. The smell is OK. Both have some bronzer in
them, as well as self-tanner, so if I suddenly decide to
wear a dress, I can apply it to my legs and have some
color immediately.

Unlike the Jergens one, these don't leave massive stains
on my towels after a shower. Unlike the Clinique,
which I wanted to like, it doesn't turn me orange.

I tend to "underuse" these--using a little, rubbing it in
well, because I don't want to look "tan" so much as
a little healthier and not so pale, especially in the summer.

I'm really loyal to these products.

And Stellaglo agrees. Which boosted my self-esteem in enormous--
and somewhat pathetic--ways.

[Waves to The Other Kim.]

stellaglo...
hahhahah, i do agree, to the point that i was planning on posting the
rec and giving you the credit, aje! i still like this stuff the best,
it's the most natural looking tan i've ever faked. worth every penny.

they have one product which goes on bronze so you can see where
you're applying it. the bronze colour washes off if you go into
water after application, and over the next few hours, you get a
sunless tan. they have mousses, sprays, lotions, etc. it's all
so confusing, and i just don't know what to buy.

any help or experiences would be appreciated.
