Essie "Room With A View"

I'm looking for light pink polishes with some shimmer. A recommendation I
read in a magazine prompted me to try Essie "Room With A View"

What I like about it:

It's translucent. I usually wear lighter polishes and I prefer them to be on
the translucent side.

It has a lot of shimmer, but it's not "frost" so it goes on evenly (no
streaks).

What I did not like at first:

I was expecting it to be a little pinker. I applied two coats and it is not
as pink to my eyes as it looks in the bottle. Since I do wear similar
colors, I have to say that I like this color a lot, it's just not exactly
what I was expecting when I purchased it. I may try layering this color over
something else.

BTW to Audrey and those I talked to before getting acrylics put back on -- I
am enjoying the acrylics so much that I don't see myself going back to au
naturel for a long time. I think acrylics look most natural when the profile
is filed down a lot so that they are very thin. So that is how I am wearing
mine.

I am glad you are happy with them and found someone to make them thin.
Mine are extremely thin. The new manicurist has been doing a great job
in half the time as the one I went to for more than ten years and my
nails are actually dry when I leave the salon. I am currently wearing
Chanel's rose baby but may switch back to ballerina.
