Highway 12 between Napa and Sonoma is under water in sections. It is a
bad time for California vineyards and homeowners in the north.

The weather radar shows that the rain stops with you :) We have been
expecting rain all day and it is still dry. The 6 o'clock news ran a
story about the 12 people getting their sand bags and the anticipation
of a 1/4 inch of rain. They should listen to their stories. The rain
appears to be very heavy in northern CA. I was pleased because I
finished planting some violas and weeded my large flower bed.

expects huge amounts of dry for the next one or two weeks.

Also, record highs and 40 MPH winds where they don't need it in North
Texas.

doesn't cooperate with holding down the drought (despite a day earlier
this month with localized flooding).
