Was this apology really needed?

Ruddell...
Only one photo that I could find but to me more of a big deal over nothing?

As long as there are baby boomers around psychedelic will always surface
somewhere...

Well, actually, if you're ever on camera, there are all these rules and
guidelines about what works on camera. Her blouse definetly broke all
the rules, and frankly I'm surprised the studio didn't have her change
first. Very likely on screen the blouse was shimmering away, the lines
moving about, causing people to cross their eyes and adjust their t.v.
sets! Even if the blouse is quite lovely to look at in person or a
photo (and I think it is kinda cool!), I coulda guessed that blouse
would be very annoying and distracting on film to the viewers at home.

Rules for being on-camera (from what I can remember):

- Don't wear white - soft pastels are better; strong solid colors like
red or hot pink work even better
- No lines or patterns (that includes your tie, no pinstripes, no
plaids) - they can start to do the shimmy
- No gold or silver - pearls are best because they don't reflect the
light as much
- Spray your eyeglasses with this stuff that makes them non-reflective
if they are not already
- Do your makeup heavier, and definetly wear foundation
- Powder is a must, for both men and women
- If you're like me and smile a big toothy grin, maybe use vaseline
because on camera all you can see is my shiny teeth

DWACON...
In TV, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Userb3...
She's too young to be a boomer!

Ruddell...
Yes, apparently you're right.

But of course she's catering to today's audience which still eats that stuff
up ;-)
