P & T...
A friend and I went in for pedicures last week. I got a French pedicure and
I'm trying to find the clear color she used so I can buy some for myself.
(I give myself French manicures but can't do my toes too good.) I asked her
what she was using but she said they buy it in huge mega bottles so she
couldn't sell me any. The language was a barrier too so I couldn't ask too
many questions.

But what she used was a clear coat that has a very faint pink tint to it.
And it takes out the yellow, which I love! So it's a very subtle pink color
but yet it's clear. I hope that makes sense. The mega bottle she showed me
called it "pink airbrushing polish".

Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I could buy some? I'm
going to try Sally's later on in the week to see if I can find what I'm

If you don't get help here you will at a beauty supply store. Most
manicurists seem to have at least 5-10 colors for the French manicure
and all are slightly different.

I like Rimmel 442 French Rose -- it even looks natural against my pale olive
skin. If your nails are yellow, you could try buffing them with a wide nail
buffer before you polish -- it'll also smooths out some ridges and always
apply a basecoat.
