Primer?

'lo all.
I'm currently using Shiseido's "smoothing veil." Although it does a decent
job, it seems a bit drying. I'm thinking about exploring other primers.
I've got 40 yr old, rosacea-afflicted skin, a bit dry, and there's a touch
of orange peel going on.
Suggestions for a replacement product ?

Have you tried Photo Finish? Smashbox? Loreal Transfromance (SP or name
wrong) is great. I'm not sure if they make it anymore. I love it
compared to PhotoFinish. (it makes my skin drier) I like the Loreal the
best. (Not adverstised as a "primer"..but has the same ingredients and
added benefits. HTH
