I checked the St.Louis Post Dispatch for Jim's Obituary but perhaps it is to
early for it to be published. I don't even know if Jim would be in that
paper.
You might want keep an eye on that paper. I just did a search for it as I
know of that paper.

Jim's daughter Cathe said that they will probably write up an obituary for
Jim and send it to me to post on the groups.

Thanks Joy. :-) But you know what I like best? Reading Jim's own
words about his life and who he is on his web page. And my fervent
wish is that tonight he has been reunited at the Rainbow Bridge with
RedCat. :-)

Please post the URL to Jim's web page! I may have seen it but cannot
remember.

Someone has probably done it by now but here it is:

Thank you! I had not read it before. Think I'll print at least some of it
out.

I'm sad that he had a lot of pictures of himself on his web page too,
but he gave them all names and the file was after the last / on
everman so you would have to know what he named them to find them.

I had a couple in my old computer that I wanted to read and never did:
in which Jim is pictured with Monroe in the Buffett concert t shirt that I
had send him.
It just seems that already he will pop in and have some smart remark to
make.
I shall always remember:
Sue...did you know there is no such word as gullible in the dictionary.
And some one would always fall for that and come back with ....Of course
there is.

Thanks Sue. What a beautiful picture of him with Axel, and I can
almost see him drooling standing next to MM.

Yes, that was Jim's wonderful sense of humor. From what Gwen said, he
managed to hold onto that right up to the end.

Yes, that is a good thing to think about.

That seems to be true. Maybe we can do some searches to try
to find some of his hidden files. I have copied everything I
can find, including links. BUT there is so much more. I
don't want his prose to be lost forever. I can just see us
wanting to find various things he posted for a long time to come.
