I've just posted a photo of our new garden toy onto the blog. That's
apparently, Jeanette
It's not much but it's all we have. ;-)

Oh neat mick! I can't wait to see the finished product. Are you
using a submersible pump? Where is it?
**Dalin**...
|
I thought some could be on the outside with the tubing going into the
water. It must be inside that core piece where the water is coming

Ohmigosh! A waterfall! How wonderful. The pump I have is a very
small one, 6 v and it raises the small stream of water a foot in the
air to fall from the pitcher. You may want more water falling of
course, but a small stream trickling down through rocks would be very
pretty. :-) I can't wait to see it when it's done. :-) Lots and
lots of pics from different angles so as to give me some ideas. :-)
Course I need an electrical outlet first!

from. I know it will be somewhere in your garden.

ok, of those there, my favorite is img1366. you have captured a sense of
height and strength and nature. I love the photo. I hope i'm still on this
earth when you receive appropriate recognition for your photography... :)
that website of yours is really beautiful... :)

Beautiful pictures. Interesting angles of the viaduct, but I think my
favorite is the second one. :-) Nice the way the trees are reflected
in the water and you've captured the stillness of it all.

If making it look beautiful and serene and yet untamed you did it
justice. :-) I see a fence there. Are you allowed to climb over it
and sit on the bank for a picnic?

How do you get to the river if there is a field of cows in the way?
It must be private property to the fence. Or maybe to the water and
the fence is just there so the cows can't fall in.

Dalin - who will now go look at the history
|
The river is the River Itchen, which is about six miles from here at it's
nearest point although the point where I took the photos is all of 15
miles away. The viaduct is Hockley Viaduct and if you're in the least bit
interested in it's history, then have a look at
I was going to write a potted history but I found the site and it does it
so much better than I can. Lord alone knows when the pictures on the
website were taken because, as you can see from my images, it's a bit over
grown now. I to fight through some serious jungle to find places to take
pictures from.
