arneeeee417...
As you know, I wasn't able to go to my daughter's wedding Saturday. I
really had to fight myself from calling her the morning of the wedding.
I didn't want to disturb her when theings would be quite busy. Don's
devil got the better of me and I did it just a few hours before the
wedding.

My daughter was really happy to hear from me. She said that she had
been thingking of me all day. I first talked to her husband and he was
a newrvous wreck. He said that he had gone out to the patio but when he
came back in he caught a belt loop on the screen door. He said that his
pants were down the street under someone's sewing machine. Then he
couldn't find his tie tack. He said that he was a mess but Beth was
cool and calm.

Peter said that Elizabeth had arranged to have the wedding vidioed as
well as still pictures. He was not happy about being on video because
of his nerves. I told him that he would be into the wedding that he
wouldn't notice the camera. About that time, Beth came in. As he handed
the phone to her, he started telling her all the things that were going
wrong for him. She just calmly told him that she had his pants and his
tie tack was in the pocket. LOL!!!

They are on their honeymoon now. I am looking forward to hearing all
about the wedding when they get home. Beth said that she has a fall
break from her Master's program and plans to fly down for a few days to
visit me. She will bring the video and pictures with her.

We were both glad that I called. She said that she needed to talk to
her mother before the wedding but didn't want to disturb me.

Thanks to Don's devil for making my day better.

Arlin :-)

Don's devil does good work. However, in one of his more devilish moments
could he have been responsible for the groom's pants?? Hmmmm. :-) It was
good you gave your daughter the opportunity to have a few words with Mom.
Something every bride should have.

Arch (TX)...
That was wonderful news Arlin. Congrats to your daughter and her husband
and to you too. I pray that the chemo does its job in grand fashion and
you are feeling better every day.

**Dalin**...
Hooray for Don's Devil! He did good! :-) Beth's day would just not
have been as wonderful without a call from her mother. :-) And how
great that you and Beth will be able to view the video together. Much
better than you viewing it alone. You will be able to share the
thoughts and feelings she had as you watch together.

Jean B....
Isn't it lucky you called? :-) I am glad you will get to
experience that special day via the video, Arlin.

Interesting that your daughter was so calm and the groom was a
nervous wreck.
