Joan F \(MI\)...
It seems just yesterday that we were on the verge of Y2K, wondering if all
the computers would crash, what were we going to call the young years in the
new century--two thousand? 20 oh oh? And here it's 2007 already, not long

Betsy In VA...
LOL, yes we wasted many hours debating whether we would say things like
"I remember that happening back in aught 3" or "I remember that
happening back in Oh-3" or "I remember that happening back in the mid
zero's."

Who would've guessed we'd take the simple choice: "I remember that
happening back in 2003."

Joy...
Even so, some people say "twenty-oh-three", while others say "two thousand
(and) three". I put the "and" in parentheses because most people say it,
although it is incorrect. Or at least, so I was taught back in the 7th
grade about a million (well, over 50) years ago.

till were in the 20 teens. I hope we are all still here to see that
milestone and many more as well.

**Lin**...
Yes, that was the year we turned on the tv at noon waiting to see if
all the lights went off in Australia. :-)

What DO we call the young years?

Dalin

mmj1...
Last year. :-)

Gene Seibel...
I remember as a kid that it seemed like sceince fiction that it would
someday be the year 2000 and I would be 50!!
