Chakolate...

Jean B....
The sig line? I just recently was dismayed to hear how much
energy we were consuming with our computer habits.

Chakolate...
No more than for a tv and vcr, really. It's not an energy-consuming
activity at all, compared to, say, speedboating or motor-vehicle riding.

Jean B....
So WHY didn't you get it? Mingy loves his. I think he drinks
a lot more because of it--which is good.

mmj1...
Sometimes you have just had enough! Not being the hunter type I was cheering
for the deer, or course.

Joy...
So was I.

Chakolate...
I was seriously afraid Pi would just be hypnotized. The sink on occasion
is a better idea, I think.

BTW, that's a very creative use for dirty dishes. :-)

Chakolate...
Heh. Thanks.

Joy...
Also a good excuse to put off washing them for a while. ;-)

Jean B....
Does one need an excuse? If so, should we construct a list of

Chakolate...
Hah! Precisely what I was thinking. :-)

handy excuses? Oh, I actually have one. (It only works if I
have just cooked something.) My counterspace near the sink is
quite limited, so the dish drainer is very small. Well,
dontcha think the amount of dish washing is dictated by this?

So, we have:

Reasons to no do the dishes:

1. The cat must be amused (and we know such things are
paramount).

2. The dish drainer is full (and of course, we aren't going
to waste even more time drying the thangs).

Chakolate...
Best reason of all: they'll just get dirty again. ;-)

Jean B....
But, OTOH, one doesn't have an endless supply of clean
dishes--or of space for firty ones. And, as I learned long
ago, when I was first out on my own, dirty dishes do not
improve over time.

Jean B....
What a good arrangement, Jeanette! :-) Hmmm. I'm reminded
that the dishes in the drainer are dry, so I should oust them
and clean up a bit.
This cat even looks like Pi, who would certainly do that if he ever
figured out how:

Many years ago we had a friend whose cat was toilet trained. But I
don't think the cat ever learned to flush.
