Mrs G...
Goro's quiz site is no accessible

Goromoff...
like the Missus just said Anne - it's up and running. It must have been
having a bad hair day, I think.

Now it will go sulk, 'cos I just embarassed myself!

Chakolate...
It's my understanding that people who are on webTV are unable to get to
websites that aren't clickable, aren't they? IOW, when we discuss a
website, it's probably a kindness always to include the URL.

Have I got this wrong?

david...
chak, it's happened... I disagree... :)) there are times when someone
posts and doesn't always remember to write the URL... that's human.. and
people may be using cell phones... or other technologies... at some point
a person should take pencil and paper and write URLs down. i agree with
goro that we can't know someone's access and can't be accountable for
that. jeanette is always gracious when she needs to reach a site and she
takes ownership to request the URL. i admire her for that... and i try to
remember to post URLs, but i also forget... (stepping down from
soapbox...which is always creaky... )

as far as webTV capabilities, i don't know if that's true or not - about
webTV. jeanette is on webtv and she's never said that she can't reach a
URL - only that it's much easier when there's a link... if it were
impossible, then webTV would be unable to use web at all unless people
sent emails with links... and i think webTV has bookmarks... but i'm
ignorant of their use.

however, several days ago I added a link to the blog (there's a list of
URLs near top right of page... first link is to a HELP page for blog...
second link is to Goro's trivia game... I did this so if non-
participants wanted to join they could and if regulars lost the URL, they
could readily retrieve from the blog site... :)) my intent is that if
jeanette or others can at least always find the blog, they can click from
there to other AFP sites... :))

david...
well, i know we're really on the same wave length... :) and I agree that
some websites go unknown... i did a quick look on web at webTV and it
appears that it isn't "mouse friendly", so isn't designed for toggling
back and forth as easily as computers.
