this Friday I go for operation on my knee [?] it is the cartilage mainly but
they will be cleaning up arthritic damage also

This seems to be a week for surgery. A friend of mine is having a double
mastectomy on Thursday. I wish you all the best. I hope the surgery goes
well and does what it is supposed to, and you heal quickly with a minimum of
pain.

walk without her rollater, I didn't recognize her!
