Final Four

The NCAA Basketball tournament started today at noon. The games are on all
day on CBS.

The tournament starts with 64 teams. Half of the teams are eliminated each
time they play. So the progression is 64 - 32 - 16 - 8 - 4 - 2 - The
champion! Since there are so many teams, it is considered a plus to survive
to the final four.

Incidentally, this tournament is also known as March Madness, presumably
because so many people get worked up about it. ;-)
