A Time of Giving Away Treasures...

Me and Judy are having our 4th Garage Sale in 30 years, Friday and
Saturday, Nov.10 and 11. A jogger walked up the driveway late this
evening and bought $50 worth of Treasures for $11.75.
I hate selling $20 items for $1.

antique dealers *hunt* garage sales. They are on your door step an hour
before opening time and often very pushy, I saw a couple of them get
into it with each other one fine crispy morning.

Sorry, but you're totally looking at this the wrong way. You're not
selling $20 items for $1. You're taking things you no longer need or
want, that you enjoyed and out of which you got your money's worth, and
presenting them for a nominal fee to others who will give them new life
and cherish them all the more for the fact that they have history.

The best things I have came from garage sales.

Personally I *LOVE* getting rid of *junk* that some folks refer to as
treasure. Trouble iz the old lady... she won't let go of *ANYTHING*!
