It is so nice to have friends visit you. Especially as you get
a bit older. Perhaps that is why we are not so picky about who
our friends are. We just love and appreciate each other. I have
posted her photo on the blog, be kind as she is somewhat new to
having her photo posted for a lot of people all over the world
to look at.

Very pretty, and what nice bright eyes!

We had one just like that...almost. It was a tarantula and we called it
Boris....after Boris Karloff, I think.

Tarantulas can come in some really big sizes. When my daughter lived out
in the country I came across one along a road as I was walking around.
Beautiful creature. I didn't have camera with me at the time unfortunately.

Aww, she will probably blush when I tell
her what you said. She is very timid.
Val Adams...

well, whisper in her tiny litle ear, then. IIRC, that is somewhere along
the lower abdomen...

Thanks Bette. The background for those photos was horrible. I was
reading up on how to delete and/or replace the background but got too
confused. I was thinking that a very pale blue would work a lot better
than that pink towel. LOL

Wow, Arch, You had me going there for a moment...lol...
Adistant relative of hers was on my kitchen door, I tried to be gentle &
lift her off. so I could put her outside..unfortunately she had other
ideas... and have not seen her again...

I went back later with the intent to move her outside onto the porch
where she could dwell with the other spiders and have a bunch of insects
to choose from for her meals. She was gone! I looked all over, took the
towel and checked both sides, gone. Hope she is OK and found a way out.

Hope so...she was a pretty one...my visitor was way small...an inmature
I suppose...

You need to watch a spider close up and see how they survive. Quite
interesting critters actually. When my wife and I lived near Fort Worth
we used to watch a large garden spider renew her web each evening. They
are pretty good little engineers. LOL

I hate to say it, since I hate spiders, but this new friend is
about that one!

Uh Arch, which end is the front? She looks like she has eyes on both
ends. She's not so bad looking you know. How long is she?

Chakolate...

She's a pretty little thing.

Norma...

I'm glad she's your friend and not mine. No waY would I get close
enough to take a picture of a girl like her who jumps!

Surprise! They will not stay on you. I have had some to jump onto my
hand and then they all immediately jumped right back off. I read
somewhere that they do not like the oils on human skin.

Arch, I just can't be your roommate.
Arch (TX)...
|
Well, you would have to share with my friends.
mmj1...
|
And that would be a problem for me. LOL

Joy...

Um, you sure have some, uh, interesting friends, Arch. ;-)
Arch (TX)...
|
Well, if you ever get the chance to visit here someday I will introduce
you to my friends. LOL

Just a little over 1/2 inch. Cute critter.

I'd rather have her for a friend than Rosco!
