I caught her!

She thought I was asleep. I wasn't. I was awake, lie..lay...reclining in
bed. At first it sounded like a murmur or possibly a low hum.

Curiosity caused me to ease gently out of bed and after each toe found a
vacant slipper, I shuffled slowly toward the steady droning. I thought it
might be the ceiling fan or the TV on low volume, but as looked into the
living room, there she was! I caught her!

Butterkup was YODELING!

Yes, this same person who often berated my yodeling was now yodeling
softly to our dog!

Well, it just goes to show ya, never listen to people who criticize your
attempts for greatness.
