Wow! I am amazed that an automatic setting could capture the flame

nice color, bob. great shot! i haven't had much trouble with JPG and GIF
resizing. i've sent some larger photos to blog that have been nicely
reduced... :) question on the auto setting... is this a shutter-
preferred or an aperture-preferred auto? or is there a third version? i'm
kind of a layperson on this, but you seem to have good focus in foreground
and background so i'm guessing aperture-preferred? (i'm happy to be 100%
wrong as i'll learn from it.. )

and, that other photo... just how big is that 'hoss'? and what breed?
certainly a handsome animal... :)
