Eye Candy

We swim everyday at the Young Harris College pool. It is marvelous. Always
set at about 90 degrees, so it really feels good on these old bones.
Lately there have been 4 old women....well....they were not really
old....more like my age! LOL And all they do is bounce, bounce, bounce.
and talk, talk, talk,
And just when we are ready to shower....so are they. Now there are only 4
woman's showers. So, you see my problem? \
Stan and I solved the problem by going a half hour later to the pool. Only
yesterday, the girls softball team and the girls tennis team were exercising
in the pool.
So, you can see why I entitled this post "eye candy". That's what Stan had.

let me explain 'eye candy' to you sue... see... eye candy would be a 1952
chevy pickup with a big GMC six installed with dual exhaust... or maybe a
1953 Triumph Speedtwin motorcycle... or maybe a Coleman two-burner camp
stove. or maybe a winchester 30-30 from the 1890's...(Garands from the
1940's always qualify)... of course, any horse saddle of western design
qualifies... a 1948 MG? no question. a 1960 MG? well, that depends. see?
eye candy to a guy has to do with function and history... a dozen semi-
nekkid young wimmen? naw... just a brief interruption to grander
thoughts.... :)

dear sue,
you obviously misunderstand poor stan... yes, he was watching those young
ladies, but clearly from a grandfatherly view... concerned whether they had
a good home life, clear academic strategy, possibly in need of a mentor to
guide them through the rigors of college life. All you saw were lots of
young semi-naked young women frolicking in the pool.... but I'm sure what
Stan saw was an opportunity to counsel and advise and help these young
women in pursuit of their life goals -- and likely a remembrance of his
awakening to life's accountabilities and opportunities when he was that
age. yes, i'm sure of it... :)

Wow...90 degrees...the pool at the 24 hour fitness here is quite cold to me.
I would love your pool, Sue...
I had heard that the pool at the West Flamingo Senior Center is warmer than
most pools here. I plan to try it out soon...hoping it will be 90 degrees
like yours in Young Harris.

This pool is free to the community....when we were paying at the fitness
center, the pool temp was 82 degrees. Even in the winter. Most of the
time, I froze!

The senior center pool here is also free when I get my Senior Dimensions
card. The fitness center is a nominal amount and only 2 miles from my home.
I like to walk on the treadmill and watch the morning news on the TV there.
If I can't get a good spot in front of the TV, I wait till someone leaves.
You can see I am dedicated to keeping fit only if it is comfortable.

honest injun... it's just his social commitment showing... :) the fact
that the pool was full of semi-naked young women was just a coincidence...
honest... would I lie just to protect another guy?
