Where did all the flowers go....Wait....that's not what I meant to say.
Where did all the older pictures from the Blog go?

I know that I'm not David, but you seem desperate to know. Down at the

are you sure? sometimes you know me better than I... :) and you ride

Absolutely. I've seen a picture of David on the collage and it's not me. ;-)

I saw my picture on there too, but it is not me. At least it was no
match for the one I see in the mirror every day. That was a young guy
on there. Hmm, ....naaa! I couldn't have aged that much! Has to be
somebody else.

motorsickles... and you have a purty wife... dang, that's a lot of
coincidences.... :)

bottom of the blog page is the word 'Older'. Click on that and relive the
old glories.

And also, would you send me a copy of the collage?

well, uh... sue... remember when you were 6 years old and you went to
see your pet guppy in the fishbowl.... and the guppy wasn't there? and
how your mom told you that guppies don't live forever and go to heaven?
well, that's what happens to old photos. There is just so much room in
our blog world and I have to play god periodically and remove the older
ones.
I always try to keep at least 2 months of photos posted, sometimes
letting it grow to 3-4 months and then cutting back to a minimum of 2
months. This takes somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour to do, but it
ensures there is room for new posts... and sometimes we get a flurry of
new photos in one day - that's why I try to make sure that we're never
near our max. BUT... it's all done carefully. Old photos are first
deactivated by removing the related post. This frees the photo from all
Internet commitments. Then, the photos are collected together and a final
report is produced to confirm prior to deleting. I'm always worried that
I will delete a photo from an active post, but so far that has not
happened.
Also, whenever I send the blog reminder, I always mention that photos
have been removed and the approx time frame. That is to remind people
that if there are photos of interest, they should save them for their own
use. We could expand our photo storage considerably if we paid for the
account... .. but we are using the free support model. And, I
don't think most of our NG ever go back weeks or months to browse old
photos.... (I do, but I'm weird...)
So, that's where the old photos go. I do not have any backups of them.
The collage? well, ahem... the rules were to request via email, but I'll
accept your request . it's been sent to you... Now, I'll look for a
glazed donut from you in payment.... :)

Donuts are not healthy. Wanna a tofurky samwich?
Michael Fanner...

Donuts make me happy. Happy is healthy, therefore donuts are healthy. ;-)

my thoughts exactly. a donut inspires me... a tofurkey sandwich tells me
that I'll find opportunities to be helpful elsewhere... :) poor stan...
and a tofurkey sandwich is among the "good stuff", if you can imagine how
bad it must get. you and I need to find a way to sneak sausage and pepper
sandwiches to stan... maybe some cheesecake pie... we gotta' save the man,
ya' know... :)

Are you suggesting food parcels left 'in the usual place'?

i'm beginning to understand stan's dilemma... :) poor guy...

Whoever gave Stan the yodeling certificate should take it back. He
wasn't yodeling. He was choking on a tofurkey sandwich and trying to
call for help.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll make a tofurkey for this Thanksgiving. Our son is a
vegetarian so it's a good thing to do!
And lotsa bean sprouts in the salad. :-)
You expect something good when you never bothered with a tip last
year?
