In case any of you might be interested ,my Niece has written a nice
book all about the talented Hollywood Movie and t.v. horses, their
riders, trainers, etc. You Western fans and horse aficionados will
really enjoy. Hollywood Hoofbeats, by Petrine Day Mitchum. Enjoy.

This is s fine looking book. I'll see if I can run it down... I see it's
available on the dotcoms.
Funny how that her notation that a horse was the first movie star it
floows that one good link leads to antother, I found this page that
shows the photographer Eadweard Muybridges breakthru efforts in 1878 to
show the horse's stride and proof they were airborn in mid stride. A fun
page to spend a minute. the *first movie star*... a horse named Abe
