Clouddancer...
Sunday night we had another round of thunderstorms that fired up as the sun
was setting. Bill lowered the window in our bedroom to take some pictures
of how the clouds looked over Cedar mountain. The lower the sun set the
more the colors in the clouds intensified. It was pouring down rain off in
the distance with lots of cloud to cloud lightning our digital camera was a
little to slow to capture. It thundered one after the other for nearly 2
hours before it was calm out again.

If anyone would like to see some pictures here's the web address.

Beautiful shots.

Arch (TX)...
Cloud, if you have a tripod it will help in getting lightening shots.
Also, check if your camera has a time exposure setting. If so you might
want to set it at 10 or more seconds (that is why the tripod comes in
handy). Aim toward where the lightening is happening and open the
shutter. Best done at night. Oh, also focus on infinity. Hopes this info
helps. Let me know.

Norma...
Impressive. The first one looks almost like the aurora borealis.
