gene.... great photo!!

nice photo, gene! I don't even WALK that close to people, let alone ride
in a jet plane that close... :) Dalin and I first saw them when I was
stationed at Langley AFB in the early 60's... always a heart-stopping
performance. thanks for putting it up... :)

Egads! That picture is enough to set the ol' nerves a-twittering!

Loved the Eric Canal picture. My dad and my mother's father, brothers,
nephews and assorted other relatives all worked on the Erie Canal way
back when, when it was used for transportation of goods. It was still
being used somewhat through the 40's but the interstate road system put
"paid" to it.

Air Force shows and the thrill and pride you get just in watching them is
amazing.

before thier big home games.

back and the Thunder Birds flew in from New Hampshire and "buzzed" them! It
was pretty exciting seeing the two top teams at one time!

can't say I miss living where I heard their air shows though.
