Photo Archiver Program

What I have
- Corel Paint Shop Pro X
- Thousands of digital pictures
stored on many CDs.

What I want
- A program to keep track of all
info on all pictures.

What has been done
- Searched Internet

Arch (TX)...

Knut I would like to suggest storing them on DVD's. They hold
4.7 GB compared to 700 MB on a CD. Also, you can get the DVD's
that allow you to go back and add more if you have the room.

Frogman, now I have downloaded & installed the program.
So far, my impression is that it functions as expected.
It seems however, that this program is based on that users have all their
pictures stored on harddisk. I have all my pictures stored on CDs, but
accidentally I had some jpg's stored on harddisk. Those pictures functioned
as I hoped.
I haven't so far checked if the program can use my concept, but I imagine
that it is intelligent enough to do so. I'll test that.

i agree. great program for organizing photos... even the ones you didn't
know were there...:)

I guess I haven't mastered it yet. I often find it difficult to find
photos, using Picassa.

I really enjoy using Picasa2, it's handy in cataloging your pics, sending
emails, ordering prints & also has your own website connected too...have
other pix programs as well... Annie

well, i recommened it because it seems to best fit what knut is looking
for. i don't use picasa because i don't have many photos and those i do
have are all in the same folder, 'my pictures'... :)

microsoft has a free photo product for winXP users...
features that knut wants.

have so many photo programs on my computer now it's confusing.
