Easter Dinner...

Shirley...
Ham with pineapple/brown sugar glaze
Roasted asparagus (rolled in a wee bit of olive oil) wrapped in thin strips
of prosciutto...
Yukon gold mashed taters (with just a hint of shallots and garlic that had
been roasted)...

Dessert...a white cake iced in white and smothered in coconut and decorated
with Easter candy...

Ooooh deliciousShirley! The days are gone when I cooked a big ham
dinner and I'm glad of that cause it's work! But we also miss out on
the nice food. :-(

Shirley...
That's why I keep the menu simple...and it is the only time of year we do
eat ham as it is just too salty for our palates. I even par boil it first to
remove some of the salt before I roast it....

If only my daughter could cook we could go to her house instead...kids
always pick on her that they know it is time to eat because the smoke alarm
goes off...

LOL! Some people just don't like to cook and never learn how. I
don't mind, but it's not my favorite thing to do. I like simple
recipes. I'll occasionally tackle something with more than five
ingredients, but not very often.

hey, i do more than 5 ingredients all the time...
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a
sesame seed bun." uh, i think that's SEVEN ingredients.... :))

I had Easter dinner at a friend's house ------ she did the turkey and
made salad, I did scallopoed 'taters, and took those over------ we had
a great time :o)
