Our weather report calls for snow mixed with rain tomorrow. :-(
Guess I better bring in the hanging plants tonight. We came back
from an errand this afternoon and there was sleet bouncing off the
car. Guess spring isn't really here yet.

It wouldn't suit me to live in a hot climate. My chocolates
would melt! ;-)

No snow in the North Georgia Mountains, but it has been storming since last
night. Yesterday I saw golf ball size hail for the first time in over 30
years.
We have had thunder and lightning on and off since yesterday afternoon. Our
creek is running mud!
And the dogs are hiding.

Oh boy ! I hope that hail didn't hurt your roof or car or anything!
Where does your creek come from, up in the mountains somewhere or is
it a river tributary? If it's in the mountains there must be a lot of
soil runoff. :-(

The creek was muddy, but it running clear now.
As far as our roof.....that was how we knew it was hail....we have a metal
roof. At first we thought it was hickory nuts from the tree, until we
looked out the front yard.
No damage.

Good about no damage! :-) You've had more than your share.
Where does the creek come from?
I hope you are harvesting those hickory nuts. I think you can dry
them out in the oven.

Same here Dalin. Not Snow but strong winds and storms and hail, alas Winter

Stan always says if he were a young man he would follow our creek to the
beginning. I have to think it comes from the top of one of the mountains.
I think that it changes names somewhere along the way.

That would be neat. It might even be potable. Learned that word
while camping one time. There was a pump with a sign above saying
"non-potable water". Wonder how many campers travel with a
dictionary?

isn't gone away yet.

Yes, truffle, praline and gianduja just don't taste the same
when they've been in a fridge, they're too hard.

**Dalin**...

Ummm.... take them out a few minutes before you want to eat them. :-)
We have another freeze warning in effect for tonight. :-(

|
That's what refrigerators are for. :-)
