No.... I don't work for this company or own stock in it.... but I do buy
phone cards and pay about 3 and a half to five cents a minute for them....
So I'm going try this one out....

The PennyTalk Calling Card

AARRGH! I've been talking this up for ages Mikal. Do try it, it
works great and it keeps track of all your calls on-line. It's been
our LDS for about five years now. Of course the longer you talk the
cheaper it is because it is 49 cents to connect. It's also 99 cents a
month service charge. And there are NO taxes added on. David can
call England and talk for a half hour for the 49 cent connect charge
and sixty cents (2 cents a minute) for the half hour call.

Lou...
Computer folks might want to check out Skype

Thats funny.... I just read about it in some mag ad.... First I'd heard of
it.... I'm gonna try it now that I know someone else using it.... ;-) I
hate being first.... LOL
I've heard good things about it, but with PennyTalk you can call from
a motel room or a friend or relative's house. A cell phone, a pay
phone.

Lou...
But that 49 cent per call is a bummer for short calls.
Suggest folks check out Costco where they sell phone cards for 3.2 cents
per minute (USA) and also have low prices for overseas.
Of course in the USA most all cell phone plans include long distance.

Mikals11...
This Pennytalk is phone to phone.... no computer involved.... for long

And you can set it up so when you get down to a certain level ($5 for
me) they will automatically charge your credit card for the new amount
that you pick. Or you can wait and just tell them when you would like
to add some money. Each call you make they tell you how much money
you have left.

But it is really more than 3.2 cents by the time they take the tax
out. I used to use a phone card and my talk minutes never agreed with
theirs. They were taking the extra minutes to cover the taxes.

Yabut:
Using my trusty bubble calculator...
A 30 minute call at 3.2 cents per minute = 96 cents
A 30 minute call at 2.0 cents per minute = 60 cents PLUS 49 cents =109
cents.
And wouldn't both be taxed equally.
30 minutes seems like a pretty long call - at least if a guy is
involved. Unless the guy is talking to the love of his life

**Dalin**...
Wait a minute, that 2 cent call was to England. One cent for USA and
Canada. So 49 cents and 30 cents is 79 cents, cheaper than yours and
I still say it ends up being more than 3.2 cents that will disappear
from that account because of taxes. There are NO taxes on Penny
Talk. I think the company is in India. It hurts you if you call and
get an answering machine of course, but you can always leave a msg.
and the other person must call you back. :-)

distance this thing sounds great....
