Don't you HATE IT when that happens?
Marilee...
|
Yes! I'd blame middle age, but I've been doing this occasionally since the
kids were little.

Sorry, but I LOL! (That's empathy, you know....)

Absolutely!

Good! I just didn't want to risk a misunderstanding about that!

I spent the last 45 minutes of my work day looking for a check. I never
found it, either. :(

Jim found it last evening. I had accidentally gatthered it up (and the
sheet of instructions it was paperclipped to) with a stack of address label
sheets I'd been using.
Bleah.

But it's good that it was found!

A few years ago I was sitting in my recliner, talking on the phone. I
referred to a paper, looking at it while I was talking. After I finished
the conversation, I looked and couldn't find the paper. I searched high and
low, but just couldn't find it anywhere. Two days later, I walked into my
bedroom and the paper was lying on my bedroom dresser, in plain sight. I
have no idea how it got there or where it was for those two days.
OTOH, about 25 years ago I bought some lottery tickets to use as stocking
stuffers. When I wanted them, I couldn't find them. I still haven't found
them.

I remember the former. The latter reminds me that I STILL
haven't found some books I got for Leah for Christmas--1-2

My prescription changes every year, too. In fact, this time it was only 10
months. Since I was diagnosed with cataracts, Medicare pays for the
examination. My optometrist carries a selection of $10 frames, so the
glasses I picked up yesterday cost me $190.

Lucky you, Paco!
Wow, someone was looking after you! Must be good karma!
