Bette...
Opened the door to get the Sunday paper and was greeted by an oddity.

Across from me, tucked in behind the homes, A very large, very dark
deep grey ,on the lower portion, oval shaped cloud , Contuining
upward the cloud lightened into a medium dark grey keeping the perfect
oval shape. Brightly outlining both, a rim of "golden "light..

The rest of the sky was light grey and a few sprinkles were hitting the
ground.
A rather odd colored Easter egg, but to me it was something very
special. Bette

NHunkele...
I love to watch the clouds. I sent a pic to the blog of a formation I
photographed several years ago . It makes me think of the contest
between the North Wind and the South Wind. Actually, with the first
email, I forgot to send the picture. :)

Norma - not too bright but kinda sweet

**Dalin**...
You can almost see their faces, can't you? On the left the eye and
ski nose of the south wind and on the right the dark mouth of the
north wind. Pretty picture!

Chakolate...
It sounds like a lenticular cloud - did it look like this?

Congrats on noticing it - you'd be amazed how many people never see
clouds except to look for rain.
