Oh, have him put up his turkey recipe for Thanksgiving, the one where
you cook it all night at 250 degrees!

But add a caveat that you need to make sure your oven will operate that long
at such a low temperature. Mine didn't, and I spoiled a perfectly good
turkey a few years ago. :-(

Have you tried that approach? It must make the house smell
divine--and it would sure beat getting up at the crack of dawn
(ooo--you don't want to know how I almost typed that ) to
get that beast into the oven!

I like the all night method myself, but have tasted some really good
brown-bag ones a friend used to make.
